Artist bio
Soorin Shin
Soorin Shin is a full time artist working with Humour, Honesty and Politics. Her recent film, Your Empty Humanism is a 10 minute short film. It a tragedy about 3D rendered characters provoking existentialistic questions. What is being a human? Am I a human? Then who am I?
Wyatt Accardi
Wyatt Accardi is a interdisciplinary sculptor from New York City. He is studying at Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, but is currently attending the exchange program at Glasgow School of Art. Wyatt’s recent work tackles issues of dominance by examining power structures between humans and other species.
Kira Bell
Kira Bell is a multi-disciplinary artist working with printmaking, textiles, and most recently sculpture. She is from Dallas Texas, but moved to Baltimore to study at The Maryland Institute College of Art, and is currently on exchange here at GSA. Kira’s work explores cultural contradictions embedded in aesthetics, the internet, religion and western morals through the lens of post-colonialism and post-humanism.
